Friends & Family

Two weeks ago, our friends Luke & Kristina and their girls, Madison & Emily, came over for lunch. Brayden thought Emily was pretty cool.

This past weekend my brothers, Paul & Andy, and Andy's girlfriend, Kelsy came to visit us. Caitlyn & Brayden loved having the extra playmates.
Brayden loved giving everyone a ride on the plasma car, including his Uncle Paul.

I guess Brayden was wore out from all the playing and decided to take a morning cat nap before lunch.

Happy Valentine's Day

I've been trying to post these pictures since Monday, but we were having issues with the new internet browser we had installed on our computer. Last night we installed a new browser, so hopefully I won't have any more problems keeping the blog updated. : )

Last week, Caitlyn and I had fun decorating Valentine's cookies (Brayden kinda helped).
 The finished products!

Valentine's Day became a mini-Christmas for our kids, as they received a couple packages in the mail from relatives, and Kyle and I bought them a few things.
 New bracelets and rings!
Brayden got a new Toy Story 3 flashlight that "roars" when he turns the flashlight on and asks him, "Were you scared?" It's pretty cute, and Brayden seemed quite pleased with his new toy.

Caitlyn received a new pink purse from her Great Aunt & Uncle, and Kyle and I bought her some new jewelry and pink shoes. She, of course had to immediately model all of it for us.
Brayden loves wearing hats, especially his Dad's. He is quite pleased with himself for putting on Dad's hat without any help from one of us.
I think he has a little growing to do...
 Walking blind!
Brayden decided to fill up the new Valentine's glass, but he thought it would be even more fun to dump the water all over the kitchen floor. Can we say, "Caught in the act?"
Caitlyn received this chair a couple years ago from her grandparents. Brayden loves sitting in it also, so there is a frequent battle for who gets to sit in the chair. Here is a rare moment where they both managed to squeeze into it and watch a movie together. (Note: If you are thinking that our son looks abused, you would be right...but I promise we don't abuse him. Kyle refers to it as "Brayden's injury of the day". He is definitely all boy and at that stage of getting into everything and trying things that usually end up with him falling and getting hurt. His cheek is red because he decided to run in front of his sister while she was swinging at the park and her foot collided with his cheek. I really hope that he starts to realize he's not invincible.) ;)

Always Busy

Caitlyn & Brayden enjoy hanging out with their Uncle Jordan, even if that means working out. ;)
Brayden doing a pull-up...(with a little help).
 "This is easy!"

 Caitlyn taking her turn.

"Is this supposed to be hard?"
This is Caitlyn's new haircut--since she decided to cut her own hair. Note the extremely short bangs and short layers in the back of her hair; I can't say I was thrilled when I found out my daughter decided to be her own hair stylist, but thankfully it will grow.
This past week we had the extremely cold weather that pretty much everyone did, and enjoyed some of the snow that came with it. Here Brayden is "helping" his Uncle Jordan shovel the driveway.

All bundled and ready to go grocery shopping with Mom
The kids enjoying a movie night with their Dad.

Last week before the cold weather set in, we were able to take the kids to the park for a little bit. We all enjoyed getting out of the house for awhile.
