A few miles from our house there is a outdoor shopping mall that has alot of fun attractions for kids. Last Sunday we took the kids to the fountain area to cool off.

We had to cover the kids in sunscreen so here is Brayden's hairdo after I put sunscreen all over his head.

Brayden's Birthday (Part 2)

Last weekend some of our family came down to help us celebrate Brayden's 1st Birthday! (I promise these are the last of the birthday pics.)

This past Tuesday we celebrated Brayden's 1st birthday. Below is a slideshow from his special day. We then celebrated his birthday this past weekend with some of our family, so I will post those pics later this week!

4th of July

Quick Father/Daughter pic at the start of our 4th of July weekend. Caitlyn was so excited that her Dad had "no work" for 3 days.

The kids dressed in red-white-and-blue; whether by choice or not that is for you to decide. ;)

Caitlyn insisted on adding marshmallow stars to the cake we made--talk about sugar overload!

Not the most evenly dispersed sprinkles, but at least you know that her mom let her do it all by herself.

Riding one of the rides at the carnival: I know she doesn't look like she's having fun, but she was. She just refused to smile because she knew her mom was holding the camera and wanted her to smile...have I mentioned how much I love the 3's Stage?!?

Picture Overload!

Once again I'm behind at posting pictures, so prepare for more pictures than you likely care to look at. The following is our past couple weeks in review (4th of July pics will come later this week).

Last weekend we enjoyed going swimming at the pool at Uncle Jordan's apartment.

This is a picture of Brayden lounging poolside a couple days after he was born....

This is our son almost a year later lounging at the pool again...I think we can confidently say that our son has managed to fill out some. ;)

Two weeks ago we went to Colorado Springs to visit our friends Luke, Kristina & Madison, and meet their latest addition, Emily. I caught a quick pic of Caitlyn & Madison before they ran upstairs to play in Madison's room.

Kyle recently went golfing with his cousin, Josh, and some friends and decided to bring Caitlyn along. Here Kyle is showing Caitlyn how to swing her new golf club that he bought her with her own golf balls (pink, of course). 

She wasn't enjoying riding the golf cart at all....

Caitlyn likes to help me in the kitchen, especially with baking. We made some Sprinkle Rice Krispie treats and Caitlyn had to help...(mainly so she could eat the marshmallows).
