Uncle Kris' Graduation

Yesterday Caitlyn's Uncle Kris graduated from Focus on the Family Institute in Colorado Springs, and Caitlyn and I went to the ceremony with Caitlyn's Grandma Connie. Caitlyn's favorite part was the chocolate mousse they served us for lunch. :)

Go Rapids!!

Last night we went to the Rapids soccer game in Denver, and even though it was a chilly night, Caitlyn didn't seem to mind & we all had fun at the game.
While I was trying to get my camera back from Caitlyn, she decided to take a close-up shot of both of us. It turned out kinda cute with her "cheezy" grin. Caitlyn, Marylea & Kris watching the game.
Caitlyn having fun trying on Marylea's gloves.
Talking on the phone to Grandpa Larry & Grandma Susan after the game, telling them that she got to see "Edson the Eagle" Caitlyn's favorite Rapids' mascot.
Daddy's Little Helper: This afternoon Caitlyn helped Kyle get the mower ready for Kyle to mow our front and back yard.
Caitlyn showing off her Colorado Rapids' sweatshirt that her Uncle Jordan bought her.
Caitlyn enjoying her "treat" that Daddy bought her when they were out running errands this afternoon. (...and we wonder why she's such a "Daddy's Girl") :)
So Cute!

A New "Big Girl" Bed

This weekend we transitioned Caitlyn to a "big girl" bed, and she was quite excited and proud to have her own "big bed" as you can see from these pics. Just chillin'

Jumping on the bed just to make sure it's "bouncy" enough :)
This past weekend Caitlyn's Uncle Kris and his girlfriend, Marylea, came to visit us. Caitlyn had fun playing with both of them and, of course, enjoyed the extra attention they gave her.
After church, Caitlyn had to try on Marylea's high heels. We were all shocked that she could actually walk in the very high shoes.

All Dressed Up....

A couple of weeks ago Caitlyn's Great Grandma Shirley and Great Aunt Kathy came to visit us. They brought with them birthday gifts for Caitlyn, and in this pic Caitlyn is modeling one of her new dresses that she got from her Great Grandma. (She decided to add her dress-up Snow White shoes and sunglasses to complete the look.) :) We've been enjoying the nice spring weather lately, and Caitlyn had the chance to go to the park with her friends, Kamrynn and Makenna.
Girlfriends!
Just Hanging out!

Easter-Part 2

Saturday morning Grandma Susan painted Caitlyn's fingernails and toenails, so they would be "pretty pink" (as Caitlyn says) for church Sunday morning.
Checking out her Easter baskets after church
Giving her Easter lamb a hug
Jellybeans and a Hermie DVD from Grandpa & Grandma
Someone is a fan of chocolate!!
New hairbows!
Caitlyn got a new "dolly" from Grandpa Larry & Grandma Susan, and the dolly's eyes open and close. At first Caitlyn kept trying to keep the doll's eyes open, and didn't understand why she kept going to sleep.
Caitlyn decided to "tattoo" her Uncle Jordan with her Easter stickers while Uncle Jordan was trying to nap.
The joy of having a niece :)
Now it's Uncle Andy's turn

Happy Easter!

This weekend Caitlyn's Grandpa Larry, Grandma Susan & Uncles Jordan, Paul, Andy and Andy's girlfriend, Kelsy, came down to spend Easter with us. I have many photos (like usual), so here are a few, and I will be putting up more through the week.
Dying Easter eggs Saturday morning with Uncle Jordan Jordan, Caitlyn, Paul, Kelsy & Andy (l to r)
Caitlyn didn't like leaving her egg in the cup of dye and preferred painting her egg with dye. (She also liked putting stickers on Uncle Jordan and herself, as can be seen by Uncle Jordan's hand in this pic.)
"Painting" a yellow egg with Daddy
After egg dying, Caitlyn wanted Grandpa to put the stickers on her rather than the eggs.
The finished products (I think we all enjoyed dying and decorating eggs more than Caitlyn) :)
Caitlyn's egg is the front egg with stickers on it. Her "painting" technique of dying made her egg have a "tie dye" effect and was really one of the best eggs.
Since we were predicted to have rain on Sunday, we decided to let Caitlyn hunt for eggs on Saturday in our backyard. She wasn't too interested at first, but once she figured out that there was a jelly bean inside each egg, she had fun finding each egg.
