Since Caitlyn is talking so much now, I have to start sharing some of the funny things she says. Today at lunch I asked her if she wanted "applesauce or yogurt?" She didn't give me an immediate answer, so I asked her again "applesauce or yogurt?" She sat in her highchair for a moment pondering her options and then said, "Cookie!" Even when you try to give them options, they still come up with their own better idea. :)

Caitlyn loves watching herself dance with the animated characters on the screen (especially the puppy). Caitlyn talks constantly now, repeating any word we say, and now she is starting to say sentences. Her first sentence was "I want puppy" meaning she wanted to watch herself dance with the puppy on the TV.

Here are the rest of our Christmas week pics....yes, there are alot! It was quite a long process to get her to open all of her presents! :) Caitlyn's uncles bought her an automatic bubble blower for the bath, and Caitlyn couldn't wait until bathtime to try it out. Merry Christmas!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We felt very blessed spending the holiday with both of our families. I have a million pictures as you can imagine, so I thought I would start putting a few up. I think Caitlyn has decided that Christmas should come everyday. :)

Before Christmas Eve service last night, Grandpa Larry helped me paint Caitlyn's fingernails to match her dress. Grandma Susan then got the blowdryer out to dry the polish faster, since a toddler has a limited sitting time. As you can see Caitlyn got a kick out of the blowdryer.

Yesterday Grandma Susan was making homemade rolls, and Caitlyn had to help her shape out the dough. Caitlyn's dough resembled little worms more than round rolls, but she had a blast helping Grandma.

Christmas Cookies!

On Sunday we baked and decorated 8 dozen sugar cookies to share with our families and friends. Caitlyn had fun helping her Dad decorate a few sugar cookies of her own. She applauded her decorating after each cookie.

The cinnamon red hots were Caitlyn's favorite decorations.

Caitlyn is obsessed with stickers right now, and whenever I offer her a couple she puts out her hands and has me stick them to the back of her hands. Well the other day when I offered her stickers, she leaned forward and turned her cheek to me....she she got matching stickers on each cheek.

Tonight when I was packing our clothes for our trip to Wyoming, Caitlyn insisted on trying on her sweater that she's going to wear for Christmas Eve service. It looked pretty funny--dressy, short sweater and diaper--Caitlyn's latest fashion statement.
