Caitlyn somehow scratched her nose right beside her left eye. The scratch started bleeding, and when I tried to hold a kleenex to the scratch to stop the bleeding, she freaked out & insisted she needed a bandaid. So I decided that this was one of those battles I was not going to fight with her (and rationalizing with a 2 1/2 year old just didn't seem likely in this case), so we put a bandaid on it. Of course I was out of small bandaids, but she didn't care & was quite pleased once the bandaid was in place. Oh if only a bandaid really fixed everything as it seems to do in the world of a toddler. ;)
This is such a typical "Caitlyn look"--it basically is her "you're-annoying-me-Mom-look".
Our "severly" injured child
This would have been an even cuter picture if Caitlyn hadn't decided to mess with her brother's arm, but she usually can't resist messing with him in some way when she's near him. You can still see part of Brayden's cute grin though.
Brother & Sister being silly
Brayden turned 2 months old this week and we (as unbiased parents, of course) think he's getting cuter each day. At his doctor's appointment he weighed 12 lbs. 14 oz., which means he's almost doubled his birth weight! I think he's going to take after his 6'4" Dad & not his short Mom--an idea that his Dad is happy with since he has high basketball hopes for him. :)
