Snow Days!

The past couple days we have enjoyed our first big snowstorm. I didn't want to take the kids out in the cold, so I've tried to keep Caitlyn busy doing stuff around the house.

Tuesday Caitlyn made pumpkin-shaped sugar cookies. She did a really good job rolling out the dough, and had fun cutting out the pumpkin-shapes.

Now adding the sprinkles...Caitlyn's favorite part!

I think she maybe got carried away with the sprinkles on a couple of the cookies. ;)

Brayden's Uncle Kris plays football for Jamestown College in North Dakota. This week he sent Kyle a Jamestown Jimmies hat, and we couldn't resist trying it on Brayden. He looked so cute!

This one is my favorite!

Grandpa's Helper!

This past weekend we went up to Gillette and Caitlyn insisted on having her own rake and she "helped" her Grandpa Larry rake leaves in the yard.

Having way too much fun doing a task that most people dread. ;)

Taking a break from all her "hard work" of raking leaves and playing at the park with Grandpa Larry & Kyle

Our Visit with the Great-Grandmas!

This past weekend we went to Nebraska and Brayden got to meet his Great Grandma Joan & see his Great Grandma Shirley again. (Pictured above: Brayden & his Great Grandma Shirley).

Caitlyn had fun riding around her Great Uncle Greg's farm on the 4-wheeler with her Uncle Andy.

Saturday night we spent the evening with my Uncle Greg & Aunt Kathy, and Caitlyn had fun helping her Great Aunt Kathy carve a pumpkin. (Caitlyn picked a cat face to carve into the pumpkin).

One of the Guys...

Brayden enjoyed watching some football last Sunday afternoon with his Dad & Uncle Jordan.

Chillin' with the guys!

Caitlyn was so happy that it was cold out last Tuesday because I let her wear her winter vest. I actually bought this for her last year, but since she's so petite it still fits her.

Looking pretty in pink!

Last week Caitlyn's Uncle Paul had a few days off from work so he came to visit. Caitlyn quickly made sure that her uncle was entertaining her and listening to her every request. After playing with her toys some, she decided it was time to "do hair" and she had her Uncle Paul putting barrettes & bows all over her hair.

The "Masterpiece"

Handing him another clip....you are not allowed to be done fixing her hair until every bow, clip & barrette from her container is in her hair! LOL :)

Chef Caitlyn

When I'm getting ready in the morning, Caitlyn likes to make me lunch in her kitchen. This past week she brought me my "lunch" with her chef hat and all. I took these pics with my phone camera, so they'e not the best, but she looked too cute to not snap a couple pics.

Our laid-back little boy

Having fun playing with an empty vitamin bottle (I seriously don't know why we spend so much money on toys when this is all it takes to entertain a 2 year old). ;)

Fall or winter?: I had to post these pictures for my friend Amy because she loves snow and doesn't get to see it very often in TN. It was also a picture of our first snowfall of the season.

Saturday Morning Sprinkles!

This past summer Kyle would occasionally take Caitlyn to one of our local bakeries to get donuts on Saturday mornings. Well, Caitlyn quickly decided that this needed to become a weekly tradition, rather than an occasional treat. So this Saturday, despite our first cold spell & snow, Caitlyn & Kyle bundled up & headed to the donut shop. :)

Caitlyn needed some warmer pjs now that the weather is colder, and when I came across these pjs, I felt they were made specifically for my daughter. ; )

Enjoying her Saturday morning breakfast (Mom, I promise she eats much more nutritionally during the week).

"Mmm!"
