Last week we decided to do something fun as a family and we took the kids to the aquarium in downtown Denver. The kids are quite fascinated with sharks so they had alot of fun looking at all of the fish and sea creatures.
Checking out a really ugly eel
Stingrays
Brayden loved watching the seahorses
Caitlyn watching the stingray and other fish in the large "tunnel" tank
The kids loved the giant tortoise
This fish was one of the ugliest I have ever seen, but Caitlyn & Brayden thought it was really cool because it was so big!
In the rainforest area we got to see the tigers who came right up to the glass.
The Finale-The Shark Tank
The kids were a little freaked out because it looks like the sharks are coming right at you in their large tank.
After the exhibits they had an area where you could pet and feed the stingrays.
I promise they weren't as miserable as they look in this picture. They were just sick of the stroller at this point.
Fun carousel ride outside the Aquarium
Evan enjoying the nice day with Dad
These last few pictures are from last weekend when Kyle was up in South Dakota, and my brothers Jordan, Andy and future sister-in-law, Kelsy, came to help me with the kids. (Above) Drew's look seems to say that he knows he's getting into trouble.
Evan relaxing with Uncle Andy
Drew "helping" Kelsy & Andy unpack the dishes from the dishwasher (his skinny little "chicken" legs make me laugh).
One evening this past week, the kids were supposed to be reading books together before bed, but soon Brayden came down dressed as Merida from the movie Brave. It definitely gave all of us a good laugh! :)
