PARTY #1- This past Thursday was Caitlyn's 5th Birthday. It never seems that one day is enough to celebrate her birthday, so you will see that she had not just one, but three parties this past week. ;)
Caitlyn enjoying her preschool class singing "Happy Birthday" to her.
Sharing her birthday treats of sprinkled donuts (her favorite) and fruit
Brayden loving being part of Caitlyn's preschool class
Ready to open presents--Thursday night, Caitlyn's Uncle Andy and his girlfriend, Kelsy, and Uncle Jordan came down to eat dinner with us and have cake and ice cream.
A new game from her Uncles
Brayden was quite pleased with Caitlyn's new gifts
A girl can never have too much lipgloss!
A new purse and clothes from Grandpa Dan & Grandma Connie
A pretty new bracelet, Fancy Nancy book and fun tu-tu from Kelsy
Caitlyn loves to dance, and now this tu-tu makes it that much more fun!
A new jewelry case from her Great Uncle Greg & Aunt Kathy full of every accessory a girl could want.
Which one to try on first?....
Excited to wear all of her new clothes
Her Fancy Nancy birthday cake (Fancy Nancy is a character in a book series that Caitlyn loves)
Loving every bite of the cake frosting...and only the frosting. He ate every bit of frosting off of his piece of cake without taking a single bite of cake.
Someone was just a little hyper by this point of the day
PARTY #2- Friday evening my parents and brother, Paul, came from Wyoming and Caitlyn was able to open her gifts from them. My parents also brought two cakes to celebrate my birthday on the 16th and Kelsy's birthday, which is on the 18th.
Caitlyn trying to be patient while Brayden and Uncle Jordan cut open her new doll from Grandpa Larry & Grandma Susan.
Brayden loved using Uncle Jordan's scissors from his pocket knife.
A beautiful dress that her Grandma Susan made for her new doll
Quite attached to her new doll
PARTY #3- Saturday afternoon we had Fancy Nancy "spa party". Thanks to all of our family who ran errands, helped clean, prepared food and especially for all of their help during the party. It was fun to celebrate Caitlyn's special day with a few of her friends, and Caitlyn loved every minute of the "fancy" party!

Time for presents

Time to eat!

Uncle Andy, Uncle Kelly, Grandpa Larry & Grandma Susan
Uncle Paul & Uncle Kelly
Caitlyn had her friend, Makenna, stay the night Saturday after the party. Makenna gave Caitlyn a matching outfit for her birthday, so Sunday morning the girls requested that we do their hair the same. Brayden, of course, wanted to be included and sat patiently waiting for me to do his hair. ;)
