Chef Caitlyn!

Is she not the cutest little chef you've ever seen?! This week Caitlyn's play kitchen finally arrived (it was a late Christmas present from Dad & Mom). Caitlyn had fun playing in the box while her Daddy put it together.
Caitlyn couldn't let her Dad do all the work, so she had to help.
"See, Daddy, this is how you do it."
Once the kitchen was together, Caitlyn had fun preparing food for Dad & Mom.
Our daughter didn't exactly understand "pretend play" at first. When she tried to pour Kyle a cup of coffee and the coffee wasn't coming out of the pot, she threw the pot and cup, showing her obvious disgust for it not "working right". Later she brought Mom the faucet to her kitchen sink, and asked, "water? water?". So her parents are going to have to teach her more about pretending, rather than expecting the real thing. :)
Brewing coffee with her eyes closed.
"What's for dinner, Caitlyn?"
Getting the grill started just like Daddy does.
Caitlyn hiding behind Dad & Mom's bed after church.
Caitlyn was all dressed up for church Sunday morning, but seemed more ready to go shopping.
Saturday Kyle and I celebrated our 5th Anniversary and Caitlyn enjoyed smelling the bouquet of roses that she and her Dad bought for me.
The bright pink roses were for our 5 years of marriage, and the two yellow roses were for Caitlyn and her baby brother or sister due in July.
